Schavemaker Logistics is a division of the Schavemaker Group that focuses entirely on providing logistics services for our customers. Our dynamic team of well trained employees with a feel for service can solve your logistics problems. Please find below a summary of the service we offer.

Warehousing
To meet your requirements for temporary or long-term storage, we have warehousing facilities in all our branches with a total floor space of 44,000 m². The warehouses are equipped with mobile cranes with a lifting capacity of up to 40 tons. The warehouses are excellently situated, with motorways nearby, and the Beverwijk branch is only 100 metres away from a side canal of the North Sea Canal, with a depth of up to 8 metres.
At our Breda branch, a section of the warehouse is secured using a BV-4 alarm system, certificated and insurance-company approved, enabling us to store valuable products.

Storage and retrieval
In addition to the mobile cranes, Schavemaker have many fork-lift trucks which we can use to load, unload, store and move any consignment. All our fork-life truck drivers have a fork-lift truck diploma. The lifting capacity of the fork-lift trucks ranges from 1 ton to 42 tons. We also see to all the necessary transport and customs documentation.

Stock management
For some of our clients, we keep stock of their products. The client periodically receives a summary, stating the incoming, outgoing and current stock, so that no matter where you are you can always see exactly what your stock levels are at any given moment.

Worldwide transport (incl. stuffing and stripping containers)
If you do business all over the world, then Schavemaker is the right company for you. Schavemaker can organise the whole route for you, from the sender right up to the recipient, including all the necessary documentation. Most goods to other parts of the world go by sea container. Schavemaker has many years' experience in stuffing and stripping containers and deals with 1,000 containers per year.

Inbound logistics
